Anne Bisson, Board Member, Taunton
As Director of Department of Human Services and Council on Aging for the City of Taunton, Anne Bisson spends her time meeting the needs of Taunton’s most vulnerable residents. In addition to her official duties, her community involvement includes serving on numerous committees and task forces. She is the administrator of the Taunton Safe Neighborhood Initiative, co-chair of the Taunton Opiate and Substance Use Task Force and the co-facilitator of the Elder Community Crisis Intervention Team. She is also on the Bristol Elder Services Advisory Council, South Coast Regional Network to End Homelessness Leadership Council, Taunton Emergency Task Force, South East Regional Coordinating Council on Transportation, TRIAD, Massachusetts Councils on Aging and Senior Centers, Massachusetts Municipal Association Human Services Council and many others. A resident of Fall River, Anne is a graduate of Taunton High School. She holds Bachelors of Arts in psychology from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth), a Master of Arts in agency counseling from Rhode Island College and a Master of Science in managerial technology from Johnson and Wales University.
